Remote Access

Approval

  1. When at work: visit servicedesk.wh.org.au
  2. Click log in top right
  3. Log in with your details 
  4. Click middle box "I need something"
  5. Account management
  6. Remote access 
  7. New remote access account 
  8. Fill in details and complete

Access

  1. Once Approved on the back end
  2. On you home computer: Download Citrix workspace for Mac or Citrix receiver for Android

  3. On your web browser go to https://outcitrix.wh.org.au/ 
  4. Login in using your western health email and password
  5. You will receive a dual authetification SMS. Enter passcode
  6. On successful authentication and installation of Citrix Workspace, you will be presented with your available Western Health resources

Receiving Timesheets

Anaesthetic Admin will email out the timesheet reminder with the timesheet  link. If you do not receive these, please contact anaesthetic admin.

Receiving Payslips

If not receiving payslips contact the Medical Workforce Unit

Payroll Issues

Contact payroll ([email protected]) for correction. The Anaesthetic Department are happy to advocate if required

Common Payroll Errors

Pitfalls on trainee’s end

  1. Late submission of timesheet, missing the deadline
    - Submit timesheet by Wednesday, in the week of the M&M

  2. Stacking up timesheets and submitting months-worth of timesheets at once (may seem unusual living without pay for months, but it’s happened a few times)

  3. Errors filling in, see instructions on Timesheet page or ask for advice

Specific Payroll Issues

  1. Issues with timesheet or if you did not receive  pay at all. Contact Anaesthetic Admin

  2. Issues with payroll, penalty rates, or not receiving pay up to contracted hours. Contact payroll for correction
    - The Anaesthetic Department will advocate for trainees if an issue is not resolved by payroll
    - The Anaesthetic Department will communicate with payroll when there are common issues among trainees

  3. Historically public holidays have been a time of increased payroll errors have occurred

  4. Payroll are responsive and fair minded in the event of an errors
